Weirmarsh Big Barn, 5 bedroom barn conversion in rural North Devon

Spacious self catering holiday accommodation with games room, hot tub, log burner and original features

Weirmarsh Big Barn is a super spacious 5 bedroom barn conversion in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near Umberleigh in North Devon. It is situated in the Taw Valley just a short distance from the River Taw, the setting for Henry Williamson's famous novel, 'Tarka the Otter'.

Dog-friendly Accommodation

The ground floor of your North Devon holiday accommodation provides you with a large entrance hall, two large sitting rooms sharing a double fronted log burner, a spacious and modern kitchen and an adjoining dining room with a table to seat up to 16 people. The spacious kitchen is well equipped for all your self catering needs.

The 5th bedroom is also downstairs and is a double bedroom with an adjacent toilet and washbasin.

A spiral staircase from the ground floor entrance hall leads upstairs to the first floor, serving four large en-suite bedrooms.

Outside is a small, enclosed patio with BBQ. There is a lawned area which can be securely closed off with a gate, providing a safe haven for children and dogs.

Dogs are welcome and there is no extra charge. For more information visit our dog-friendly page.

Games room with hot tub

Entertainment for all the family is provided in our games room. Here there is a hot tub, table tennis table, a pool table and a darts board. Our games room is especially popular with the children and is the perfect way to keep them occupied while you relax in the 7 seater hot tub.

We were a party of 10 who spent 3 nights here in February to celebrate my birthday. The barn was extremely spacious and all the rooms very large with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. The children loved the small barn with table tennis, pool table and darts, and of course, the adults enjoyed the hot tub.
